I don't know how you can ever imagine that death by injection is the least painless... In fact, it is the WORST possible death. The death by injection comprises of a cocktail of 3 drugs that is meant to force-shut down your body system. The experience is akin to force feeding burning cold water upon burning hot metal. This was a description given by the doctors who still administer the injections.
It is the most painful experience possible for the few moments the cocktail burns away your nerves. Yes, you heard me... It BURNS. In fact, this method is so horrible, many countries are considering banning it. Many claims it to be too inhumane, even for criminals.

Wrong Way
1) Jump down from building - Terrible for the cleaners. Worse still you kill the poor cat below. Brainless fools who have no consideration of others who wants to live.
2) Die in the car from carbon monoxide - Die still must pollute the world. Waste petrol and cause global warming.
3) Take poison/pills/etc - Die terrible death. Vomit, eyes popping out. Horrible sight. Dirty the bedroom. Scare the small children.
4) Knockdown by lorry/car - If lorry fast enough, you get killed like a stray dog. Otherwise, you get handicapped for life. More burden. Somemore may cause damage to the cars or lorries.
Correct Way
1) Donate all your organs then die- Buy a bullet and shoot yourself.
2) Jump into the shark or crocodile infested water. Can feed the animals.
3) Go to Africa- Get sodomize by all the huge black men. Still cannot die, go n feed the lions and hyenas.
Anyway only stupid fools need to die. Even the tiny ant strive to be alive. I have no symphathy for those who wants to die. Only for their love ones who had to suffer as a consequences.
I think all the ways proposed so far are stupid and inconsiderate.

The worst way to die is to continue to vote in the PAP. Nothing can be worst than dying a slow painful death.
To kill/commit suicide required alots of courage as most of the methods are extremely painful ( like jump mrt ) and scary ( jump from 12 storey).
If you have that amount of courage, why not consider give yrself another chance and start all over again ?

Your friend most likely did not take those actual sleeping pills such as erimin, somese (upjohn), rohipnoe,domodome. Teh Chiang Wan died by consuming about 50 tablets of upjohn.
15x sleeping is definately too little and consuming all 50 pills at one go is the wrong way.
The correct method is to consume at least 100 tablets of real sleeping pills. Also we should not consume all the tablets at one go. The whole idea is a painless death, therefore to escape pain, we should put ourselves in a drowsy state first by consuming 5 pills first, then 3 mins later, another 10, then in another 8 mins, consume all.
