Best Blades

That's simple. I will inform them Bruce Niven gave it to me.

Bruce Niven that was in the 60's..where they know Bruce Niven?, David Niven they won't even know...Bruce Lee maybe...brother of Lee HL!! :D

Henckels from Germany. Can buy from Robinson.

The basic brand logo is a man figurine. Two grades:

One-man logo, restaurant kitchen grade.

Two-men logo, gangfight weapon grade.

Actually the stainless steel chopper from China is still the best. I have been using for 10 years, cut through any bones like tofu and at one time I nearly lost my finger cutting vegetables.

I also got one super blade leh.... Golden fish brand ....made in Japan ....:)

..... can slice through silky black panties ...... with an angel's face ....

LTC Niven only finally retired a few years back. He did go away earlier but was called back.

Blades? I know you got lots of bullets after winning 1,000/1,000 on Risky Business out-out 61-18. Pity Clinton666 banged everything on Better Than Ever eat grass.

There's a big shop in Trengganu Street, Chinatown, called SingArms, licensed to sell antique and replica weapons. Chinese, Japanese and western swords and sabres are all available, unsharpened. You're not supposed to sharpen it but can go sharpen it later, who knows? There're a few other smaller shops around too. Uncle Yap bought a Chinese sabre. He carries it around with receipt from licensed shop, not scared of police spotcheck.

They are ok but most are not good steel, mainly replica weapons made with low grade or 440 steel(without the C designation). Stainless steel blades become brittle once they are made too long, good for show and deterent but pretty useless as a tool to defend yourself.

The sword that one buys in Singapore, including the really good ones made of carbon steel or spring steel ones that are supposed to be kept at home or for display only. Not to be carried around to the best of my knowledge.

Police : Hello there sir, police spotcheck.

Uncle Yap : What's up?

Police : Why are you carrying a sabre?

Uncle Yap : Look, I got receipt, I bought it from licensed shop.

Police : Yes but you're supposed to keep it at home for collection or display.

Uncle Yap : I'm bringing it to a friend's home for display.

Police : You're supposed to display in it your own home.

Uncle Yap : I'm living in my friend's home. Wherever I lay my sabre, that's my home.

Police :  :oIo:

My favorite knives anytime is my range of kitchen knives from 张小泉 Shanghai. Go get it in Nanjing West Road (Walking Street) next time you are there. But I understand you can also get it in Yu Hua Departmental Store beside OG. (http://www.shzhangxiaoquan.com/)

Mr Ramseth, I was told uncleyap hires the services of Certis Cisco (armed guards) to escort his sabre when he moves house. He has money alright.

Bruce Niven is a Scot who was the commander of our Gurkha Contingent for most of its life as a unit. He retired in 2006 in his 70s.

Before being seconded to the GC from the British Army, he had served with some distinction in 22 SAS, among others. You can find out more about him here: http://www.ikosingapore.com/announce060108.html

And I would appreciate it if you didn't use racially offensive language.

who is this nigger niven?

it's all right since the word nigger in general does not refer to a scot's race.

Niven adopts a spartan lifestyle. No aircon in his office. Only fan. Extremely fit chap who led by example. Was on expat's terms while serving in the SPF.
