My criticism is that how the SPF drove him to death. Whether he is a loser or not is a matter of opinion. You may die to question Ben on that.
You know the SPF screw up when the ministar has to defend SPF publicly and go on the offensive, using defamatory language, to attack the fifth estate as well as well-respected law society president.
I hope Ben"s parents stay strong ..now with the minister painting a negative picture on Ben's action..
Look..he is a young kid and
perhaps in a moment folly commit the act, not knowing the consequences.
Look..we have a Media corp artist who re-offend thrice... that is three times and she is let off with a probation order. She argued and attended court , have hearings and all her misdeeds are documented and filed. Yet she is given three chances to repent.
She is bitchy and violent..hitting husband and damaging taxi. I avoid her show and switch channel when she appear and also never touch the product she endorse.
As for Ben, a young lad who decides to face to the fact that it is wrong and shameful and took his own life.
On the fact of this case, Ben is not given any chance or guidance when he was confronted by the law.
Surely this may be his first and only offense and he has to pay with his life because of some enthusiastic officers who want a quick end to close the case together with their procedural flaws.
For Ben's parents, the minister may be slow in showing empathy, support and understanding and stands on the other side.
But you have us who know the difficult times you are going through emotionally.
Many of us believe Ben has not died in vain. We are on your side.
Stay strong and may the spirit of your son guide your path.
