Tin tin will win again. She well deserved it. The work she had done, the care she had shown. Wished WP had done the same amount of work. WP is just like what is name implies. Wayang Party.

Yes TPL has improved since 2011. No doubt. She really work hard since winning in 2011.

But then again PAP cannot assume that it is a foregone victory at MacPherson. They are now competing with the mighty WP and an extremely qualified candidate. Is just 50-50 and the results will only be know after the votes are being counted.

If PAP vs NSP, then is a foregone conclusion.

If the WP could muster the courage to face G Yeo a heavy weight pappies' Minister, in GE 2011 despite knowing chances of victory were slim, they were still prepared to 'chiong sua" and this attitude will still prevail in coming GE. Nothing taken for granted but prepared to face defeat.

No hard work, lah. Just carrying on as an extension of pappies' machinery. If Ah Ru gets voted into Parliament in Macpherson, she will really truly put in tons of hard work to make things better in that ward. As for TPL, just walk around and pappies porlumpars will do the work for her.

If Ah Ru represents NSP, sure lower chance of winning than she is with WP. Much as she indeed is a quality candidate and based on meritocracy, she indeed is more competent than TPL.

Woody may be the first ex-PM in history of sinapor to get booted out of GE. G Yeo was first heavy weight Minister, a senior one, to get eliminated in GE 2011. Woody will be next.

This guy is too cocky and arrogant. He deserves to get kicked out rather then pack up and leave by retirement.

Although one must accept reality pappies' machinery is more powerful and widespread than those possessed by WP, voters today do not really care. They want more oppie parties in Parliament.

LKY wanted to use the might of pappies to intimidate voters of Aljunied GRC in GE 2011 but they still voted for WP.

By voting for oppie parties, the voters are clamouring for change in the country, no more mass influx of foreigners, jobs for sinaporans and a host of other grievances. So, even pappies have the most powerful machinery, voters do not really care now, especially those young voters who have access to cyberspace for massive information about pappies and their deeds or misdeeds.

If there is one Amos Yee, presumably, there may be thousands like him waiting to kick the pappies' butts when election is called.

You and I think this way, because we are middle voters. But that is not what others think!!

There are the other 2 groups here:

1. Hard Core PAP supporters - they cannot accept any Opposition party. Anything PAP good. Anything non-PAP bad. Die die also vote for PAP. Even put a dog to represent PAP, they will vote for PAP.

2. Hard core opposition supporters : They hate PAP to the core. Even if the Opposition fields a chimpanzee, they will vote for the chimpanzee. They will tell you :" BIGBOSS, fuck you understand, what you mean by more Opposition parties in Parliament?? We want PAP out and be the opposition party." Some will even call you PAP IB for advocating that PAP to be the next Government (although your emphasis is on having more opposition representation). These folks generally do not support WP, but they still vote for WP so to oppose PAP.
