these trucks drivers i am told are paid

on a round trip basis :


be they

1) normal truck
2) tipper truck
3) cement truck
4) disposal truck
5) lanjiao truck and
6) what have u


to stop this daily and weekly
and monthly carnage;

the authority should stop

all these employers from paying

all these drivers ( tiongs , banglas ,

what have u ) on a per round trip

format.

Heard that some of these " Ferraries" drivers

can take home more $500 per day

by clocking many many round trip !!!

Both cycLists & drivers need to be 'educated'.Guessed many of us here are at any one time either a cycList or driver, so Looking through both perspectives' the views can be rather different.
There's no right or wrong here, but by observing basic safety & traffic ruLes for both cycLists and drivers shouLd certainLy heLp to prevent a Lot more accidents awaiting to happen..and extending a LittLe road courtesy wouLd be an added bonus too..

The roads of Singapore are way too crowded for cyclists to travel on. I've seen one ang moh cyclist cycle along Nichol Highway on way to town. This is extremely stupid thing to do as our roads do not allow this luxury.

I propose a total ban on all motor vehicles that weigh more than 500 grams and leave the roads for the exclusive use of cyclists. Or maybe only the cyclists themselves are allowed to use normal cars on the roads. Better still, make it a death penalty crime to hinder any gold plated cyclist on the roads. Touching them should attract a sentence of life imprisonment. There, easy!

siren to be installed in all trucks

, lorry , van , delivery trucks .


Speed regulator siren will be activated when

the vehicles go beyond its permissible speed limit

Nobody seems to catch the drift that when you are paying super high taxes direct or indirect, the PAP find it difficult to justify the suppression of your freedom on the roads. Think Ferraris and high commercial category COEs. And people wonder why Woffles Wu got away with it.

im not siding the tiong but if you see the cyclist riding to the changi beach area, they hogging one lane in a 2 lane road as if their grandfather road.
last i worked in cargo complex, i witnessed most cyclist has no regards of the heavy vehicle traffic travelling.

Our super efficient govt allows these foreign trash to cum to S'pore with their purchased driving licences and simply get converted to drive on our roads.

It's a known fact that driving licenses can be purchased in China at RMB3000 (S$500) without sitting for any tests.
