8th death. this place must be haunted! why so easy to die in a reservoir.

casino losses? loan sharks?

hope the government do something about this.

You mean 水鬼 a water ghost ?

I don't think these doggies will do anything more than just dispatching a few stupid citizens who volunteered to prowl near the bank.

Since this is a talk cock forum. You may talk all the cock you want.

For rowdiness, go to RWS, the aunties there mutter chaocheebye everytime they loses.

If you are an auntie playing 5$ per round (by combining bets of course) sure they black face when auntie wins. Auntie all hawkeyes and cow peh cow bu if wining counted wrongly. Some claim each other bets so have to go to CCTV for confirmation.

And don't go to casino. Spend quality time with your loved ones. They are the ones who will choose your old age home.

hey, wait a minute, think that you guys going to blame it on the casino again. i used to think so too that casino is bad and evil. but on the overall, it helps in promoting s'pore as a tourist attraction. seen many tourists going in to gamble and of course, more losers than winners.

look at it this way, if more money can be churned this way, it may not be a bad thing. although i lost some money to them myself, i never felt it's the end. what i did was went to apply for the exclusion and never went in again for the past year.

one thing i dislike about the casino here is that i find the dealers playing as if they are dealing with their own money. when you win a little, they give you that look as if that is their own money. and then sometimes, their facial expression gets aggressive. i prefer the kind of atmosphere where gamblers gather round the table and make noises. try to make some noises, you see the fella at the casino will keep on looking at you as if you are a troublemaker. apparently, they haven't seen the casinos in states and macau.:o

and the sure die way is that you think that you can win all their money.

Re: MBS Staff Heaved A Sigh Of Relief

The water from Bedok Reservoir must be very sedap now.

Good luck to the residents living in that region. ;)

Maybe the aunties were being honest and verbally declaring the condition of their genitalia.

Re: MBS Staff Heaved A Sigh Of Relief

I think these suicidees want to make the news that's why go jump reservoir.
Let me explain....
There are over 400 suicides per year but few are reported if not you will see one suicide per day in the papers.
So these suicidees jump reservoir because it's bound to get a mention...back then the trend was jump mrt but papers said no future reports of mrt jumpers to prevent copycats....so now all jump reservoir.

The building of the barricades also made it harder to jump. But I still cannot understand why people can drown, especially those who can swim.

Ever since the barriers went up at all the MRT stations, suicides cases have been looking for alternative locations. Bedok Reservoir fits the bill perfectly as does
Benjamin Sheares Bridge.

My only question is why is it so damn popular?
