'Why do we have to see this on our streets?' MR JEFFREY NEIL WOODARD: 'The appearance of the power substations in our neighbourhoods is appalling. I'm sending some photos. You would think that such scenes would be common in Third World countries, but not in Singapore. However, this is the state to which Power Supply has allowed its substations in Woodlands to deteriorate into. Homeowners have to paint and maintain their places. Why do we have to see this on our streets?'
