24 to 25.11.2012 - 2D1N Malacca Trip (Eunos)
Rise and shine! Residents of Eunos woke up as early as 4am in the morning for the much anticipated 2D1N Malacca trip. The day started with much laughter on the bus as we made our way to Tuas Checkpoint.
Nonya food, Jonker street and a tour around the row of houses made from red bricks are some of the must-do in Malacca. Apart from experiencing the hustling and bustling of Jonker street at night, residents went back to the place again in the morning where they had the opportunity to taste one of the best char siew bun in Malacca.
We were also able to better appreciate the historic architecture along Jonker street in the day. Residents were fascinated by the rich history of Malacca and its architecture. Tour guide, Ah Liu, did an awesome job in explaining and showing these to us patiently.
No trip to Malacca is complete without embarking onto a river cruise to experience the serenity of Malacca at night.
It's great to see residents looking satisfied with their purchases, happy with their experiences and cordial with the company. With the cooperation from the residents the trip was well executed! Thank you everyone!
