11.08.2012 - National Day Dinner


Aljunied Constituency Committee (AJCC) organised its first National Day Dinner on 11 Aug 2012.

More than 1100 participants joined in the celebrations of the Nation's birthday, with the performance of the night kicked-off by adorable children from Two By Two Schoolhouse presenting a song item.

Performers from The Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) followed with a few items where they danced and signed the lyrics of popular songs, including this year's National Day Parade song - Love At First Light.

Line dancers and cultural dance groups also took to the stage and treated the audience with dance items of different forms.

The night reach a climax when Aljunied GRC MPs took to the stage along with the rest of the Workers' Party MPs, members and volunteers to participate in a mass sing-a-long session of National Day songs.

With the chorus of "We are Singapore" ringing the background, the dinner came to a close, and we wish everyone a Happy National Day!
