Another fire in the neighbourhood, at Blk 615 Bedok Reservoir Road late this evening this time. Fortunately, no one was at home and an alert ex-SAF warrant officer (thanks Zul for your community spiritedness) staying below the affected unit raised the alarm and alerted his neighbours to evacuate. The affected family will stay at their son's place in the interim. Many thanks to the young men from the Life Saving Force, SCDF 2nd Division and to the Commander and men of the Bedok North NPC for managing the situation on the ground. Investigators are looking into the cause of the blaze which originated from within the unit.

I share the same feeling as you. WP is not doing enough as after voting for them, it seems that they are just wayanging and acts as a Opposition and yet SL declared to help PAP. What she is trying to do ??? Carrying PAP balls or acts as an reliable Opp party.
Since voting over for the PE and Hougang I have not even see that Ah Lian in my area, PE and feel that they are not keeping to their promised but EMPTY talks.
WP, please wake up, if there is any OPP party in PE or Hougang area, I will vote for them not WP..

Several calligraphers were also invited to draw beautiful and auspicious messages for residents. Our volunteers also gathered to teach residents some simple handicraft that they may use to decorate their homes, such as lanterns made out of red packets (angbao) and oranges made from netting. It was an eventful morning, and we thank everyone for participating!
