No need to talk about night safari. Going out with a family in peesai already cost minimum 100 bucks. How on earth do you take a bus and MRT with a stroller and a crying baby, along with countless supply of pampers, milk bottles, snacks, toys, etc ...etc

Why go to the Night Safari when everything can be seen on Okto channel for free every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9pm? It's much more educational and entertaining than a boring trip to Mandai.

Zoo, bird park, garden by the bay, etc cannot survive with just tourist dollars. Locals are needed but they are priced out due to greed and misuse of public fund to build all these facilities in the first place. However, many of these white hippophants are slowly becoming embarrassments hence they will quietly be released as free of charge learning places for locals. Museums are excellent examples of these failed greedy pap schemes against people. Just avoid places where they overcharge and we will eventually have the last laugh.

A day outing in peesai can buy me groceries to last a week in JB. Plus there are numerous indoor playground for kids here in the malls. The malls here are empty during weekdays which helps alot.

If I am not wrong, some countries give a good discount to their citizens for the local attractions. Tourist and foreigners get charged more. This is to ensure that locals do not get priced out for local attractions meant for their own citizens.

Want to see big fishes swimming, just go to the Fishing Pond at Pasir Ris Farmway.. No entrance fee.. Can see big giant Garoupas, Red Emperor fishes swimming in front of you..

Want to see monkeys then head down to Lower Pierce, Bukit Timah..

Want to see drunken monkeys and snakes, can go to Little India during the weekends..
