So the PTC decided to increase public transport fares when transport companies like SBS Transit is enjoying whooping increase of 49.2% in profit?

They are so happy Singaporeans gave Tharman 70% of the votes that they are celebrating it with great increases in prices from postal service, public transport, water price to electric tariffs...

GMS is not happy with PAP.
Even without an increase of GST earlier this year, tax collection has increased quite substantially by 13.1%!
Yet PAP Gov keeps crying money no enough?
How many of us have 13% increase in business revenue or salary last year?
How can a gov who is enjoying MUCH MORE increase in revenue keeps pressing for more money from us, the people? Even beggars won't be that shameless!
The only possible reason for such desparate move of squeezing us more is PAP Gov's spending is totally out of control!
Logically speaking, there is absolutely no reason for PAP Gov to be crying for more money when the tax base has been extended by the huge foreign population of almost 40% of our total population (5.8m) while PAP's basic responsibility is to take care of our citizens which is only 3.7m!
It doesn't make sense that when we have much lesser population with less foreign population in SG, PAP gov could still accumulate budget surplus. But right now, with a HUGE 40% foreign population as tax base, PAP Gov couldn't make ends meet?
