Remember the150 baht two pricing system for a plate of fried basil with crispy pork and fried egg. 555 Stall owner came out to clarify that she didnt know the customet is Khon thai. if she known the customer is Khon Thai, she will charge thai price.



Many of foreigners might find this offending. But I call this unity and they take care of own people first before outsiders. burmese, laos and cambodians workers also get Thai price. Glad to say that other than the first one years I experience two price system, all with the traffic matas here, so far never encounter two price system.

scallops aka Hoi Chell is very muddy and need to wash very thoroughly.

Can add more soya sauce or maggi sauce for saltish feel. Original siam lor recipe uses butter but got request not to add butter. Also will consider adding black pepper. Well still have alot of scallops in the fridge to try out various patterns.

better to have shallot and garlic pre-sauteed or roasted with oil to bring out its flavor before adding to scallops. i would garnish last after searing scallops in high heat with caramelized, crispy and crunchy shallot and garlic and burning hot avocado oil. sprinkle with salt and pepper. viola.
