I remember when the first commercial for this scooter appeared on Thai media, the sales gimmick then was about sliding your skateboard under the seat. Clearly, the scooter was designed for Thais with that little youthful exuberance in them. Every Farang I have come across prefers either the PCX or Click series. I tried riding as a pillion on Zoomer X and the seat was really small, and the ride bumpy compared to Click. The latter is my favorite "motorsai taxi".

Lunch for today. Pad Thai Goong Sod. Needs no introduction. Usually sell during the evening and nights. Pad Thai shops usually also sell Hoi Tord (Fried Oyster omlette). Pat Thai is usually cooked on big flat pan. If using round wok to cooked Pat Thai? walk away.

This shop is at Pratamnak Hill between Soi 5 and Soi 6. One of the best in Pattaya but open during day time nia. Boss is happy go lucky relax one corner type. Dont really care about marketing or advertising or other nonsense. Take his time to cook too. No wonder so aroi. Hard to find such shop nowadays.

Need some review on Monterey Park Resort at PhiChit... worth spending a weekend over there?

@yinyang this seems to be your forte the north
Err... neither been there or heard of this. Near 290km or 4 hours+ (car) drive from Bkk. And by north, we think of Chiangmai, Chiangrai (this is is near half way up). After a quick browse through, it's some peacock themed park, seems sparse and lacking some civilisation. Lack reviews (only saw 1 thai version which gave 3/5), and even failed to hit Tripadvisor. You may have a good reason to spend the weekend there, but imho I'd be bored out of my skull:

Resorts and parks are aplenty in Thailand, I'm sure you can find something which fits your bill. Nearer, and more accessible from Bkk in same direction 200km (or 2.5-3 hours car drive) -you got a better choice in Khao Yai. Lovely cool weather, euro style resorts, golf and some national park. Did 2 drive ups awhile back, and recall my write ups then. Enjoy LOS;)

These days, I'm more into H Hin. Laid back, with non of the sleaze associated elsewhere

Looks aroi maag;). Good heads up on flat pan thingy. I never got used to or suan (wet style), prefer our sinful or chian or or luak. I guess hoi tord omelete style is more to our taste

I a carnivore.

I cannot bear the screams of tomatoes when I cut into them
And the wailing from cauliflowers drive me crazy
and the pleadings from peas were more than I can bear

Big Makruts from Saraburi neighbour who just came back last night. English dont know call what.

very good for the skin and hair.

Used freshly sliced makrut for treatment of minor skin problems, eczema and acne. Used many creams and medication but makrut is still the best as there is no side effects compared to corticosteroid based medication.

Added bonus. Very good for the scalp and hair too. Nowadays, very few white hair and smell horm horm.
