And this pinoy 2 piece was good, with charbo singer impressing me with her singlish (worked Sg 3 years). Was the only asian face amongst all the farang faces (if you exclude their partners). 3 big Singha pints @541bt plus free food dish thrown in.

Thanks for the report. I was there recently too. Nice thing about the new Silver Kris lounge is finally, there are toilets. The old one near the A gates had none and you had to walk outside. Unfortunately still no showers though and it closes at 10:30pm (or sometime around that)

You should also try the EVA lounge at F1 a short walk away. It is also pretty nice and has 2 showers and closes at 3:30am. Both beat the TG lounges (the non first class ones) in my opinion.

A slice of charming old (chinese) Bkk quarter along Bangrak road, near Asiatique and mega riverside Shang, 4 Seasons hotels -had this old style kaew mee heng, from crunchy egg noodles bunched up in wooden box.

Bfast toast at neighbourhood cafe (called Paper Cup). Tuna toast with egg topping bt99 and same for spaghetti bolognese (small serving). With small 2/3 tables at corner to watch world go by. Sure beats the lousy hotel bfast
