taukeh, how the sosro teh botol there? Like thai tea or not?

Teh Botol is a classic tea soft drinks, unlike any fresh tea. I love it with lots of ice very cold. It blends so well with Indodesian food especial all those balacan and bakar food.

..surprising for me, understand export is weak but domestic demand down? ..lucky everything is still in the plan for me
Just "technical" recession with 2 consequtive quarters contraction. Mind economists "speak", makes headliner news.

In plain speak, for us lesser mortals:

http://www.bangkokpost.com/learning...5355/what-new-in-business-news-august-19-2013

As for domestic demand, household consumption growth slowed to 2.4% with investments too at 4.5%. Agriculture stagnant (kena by decline fisheries -7.9%). So depends on your sector, and count your good fortune:D

Thailand has felt funds exodus (as with other emerging economies like Indon, Msia), due to jitters on US monetary easing. So SET and baht has taken a hit in recent weeks -still not extent of Indon's rupiah

Please check your cholesterol level on a weekly basis. :o

My fuck up problem now is the strengthening of USD since yesterday from 10,300 to almost 12,000 today what the hell almost 20% within 2 days.

Was recommended to go to a Balinese restaurant for lunch today in Tangerang a nearby city from Jakarta. Drove about an hour and a half to Bebek Tepi Sawah Restaurant in Living World Mall in Tangerang.

The Menu

Now let's get to the main business, the FOOD. Obviously this restaurant's specialty is bebek, duck. So we ordered two types of duck.

But let's have a drink first: the left is a glass of kiwi with lychee and soda and the right lemongrass palm sugar

The appetizer is fish satay skewered on lemongrass stalk, really unique and delicious, a little like otar

The flagship dish is fried duck - fried to perfect crisp

The other duck is cooked with coconut and packed with herbs

The other flagship dish is the fried chicken with galangal floss

Each of the above 3 dishes comes is a complete meal itself with rice and a large portion of vegetables.

Ok ok total bill is only S$60
