For me water just need to be clean from dirt and bacteria and all living micro-organisms not too much of the other good stuff.

Don't get too excited over bacteria and microorganisms in your water. If you're referring to municipal water treated with chlorine, no microorganisms will survive in chlorinated water. You can expect there will be plenty of microorganisms in your water tank as well as pipes, and this is why water is treated with chlorine. When the chlorinated water is released from the tap, it takes a short while for the chlorine within to vaporize.

Went to HomeWorks and Office Depot to blow aircon cos' very hot today. HomeWorks is a big hardware store. Can get most hardware here and price are reasonable.

Yes, if it's treated with chlorine. But "industrial water" used in the factory is a different story altogether, especially water drawn directly from underground.

But chlorine is not "target specific", so it kills all bacteria, including the "good ones" that aid digestion.

Yours on home tap (and industrial) make sense. Just that many from diff parts of world, with potable water (say western europe) may not have same stomach threshold in other countries. In western europe, drinking water is straight from tap -boiling water for minum is unheard of.

Anyhow, anti-dote for good bacteria is yakult or lactogen, no?:p

Antidote is something that counteracts poison. Good bacteria need no antidote lah.

I think you're referring to lactobacillus; Yakult is the brand.
