Anybody here Yaowarat expert? What do you think of these recommendations from The Nation?

I'm planning to pai teaw Yaowarat and Pahurat in 2 weeks time.
Still not sure where to stay - whether to stay in hotel or not - so I want to see if Yaowarat interesting enough to stay nearby or not.

If both prices are the same, which one would you choose ? And why ?

Mercedes-Benz-C-Class-2.jpg
lexus-is-f-11.jpg

I"ll choose the Merc if same price becos haven't owned one in my life  Someone in his 60s ever told me his thinking when young used to be need to own Merc one time in life, but after owning one and old already he realised no point, it is too expensive to do that in SG, so he switched to driving a Sunny.

I have checked Sg's site - Lexus IS250 is more expensive than C-180. But to be frank, the engine capacity is different. Despite that, C180 is still a tad more expensive than IS250 in ROC. It appears to me that if you're in ROC, it's definitely value for money to get a Lexus. A 2007 IS 250 model costs about 800,000 TWD, which is about SGD34,000. Not a bad deal at all !

Sgd34k can get Lexus in Taiwan, that is such a good deal! Sgd34k only can get Vios in Malaysia, but petrol in MY is cheaper than Thailand.

In the midst of doing a comparison between prices of Merc and Lexus.

Maybe Joety and CBFC can help shed some light.

It's between entry level C180 and IS250. In ROC, the prices are similar in the range of 1.82 million TWD. But it appears that C180 commands a much higher price in the used car market.

What is the equivalent in Thailand ? Or Singapore for that matter ?
Hehehehe. These 2 cars still not within my reach yet.

Bro, sorry to hear about the scratch.

But instead of the MUGEN stickers, can check this out> Matt Black Body Wrap, IMO +10 to beng factor.

Hi Jlokta, Thanks for the information. Have seen these wraps on the road and I quite like it. All along thought those carbon looking cars are painted. Only problem is black color cars a little dangerous on LOS roads. I travel quite a bit within LOS and many stretch of roads are not well-lighted or not lighted.

We were about to ask for the bill when a still voice came upon me and wife to do the mussels.

No regrets at all. Every bite into the flesh you can really taste the sea.

Fish House has been around for 18 years still own and run by the same Scicilian Japanese family.

Yes Jlokta it's very yummy the oysters fresh from the sea just in front from the restaurant.
Is this the Sinkee version of Tua Tow (Big Head)? Have been trying to find Tua Tow in LOS but not successful. Any idea what Hoi is Tua Tow call in LOS?

Hehehehe. Let me guess. You must also be another health conscious guy. Yeap, home cook food is always best. Here's my home cooked breakfast this morning, 2 half boiled egg with 2 piece of bread.

Saw this car SCION while on the way to Chonburi City. Looks like a vios but rear lamps a little different. Or is this one of those modified vios?

You cannot get this in a Pattaya talat? I've seen them in restaurants in BKK but I'm not really an expert because I don't eat seafood at all.

Right. Have never seen Tua Tow before. The biggest fish market in Sin City is in Na Kluea. Visit there almost every week. Most common ones are the green mussels (Hoi New Zealand) and Hoi Lai (La La).
