For those planning to celebrate songkran in future, I suggest coming to Sin City. No Songkran celebrations in LOS is as big as the one in Sin City. Basically, almost all shops are closed on this day, 19 April and the celebrations start from 7 am till next morning. All the roads are congested with pickups. The pickups will travel at very slow speed to allow participants to 'len nam'. All major roads in Sin City are affected.

Have to note that you cannot get angry when people splash water on you. Vice versa, people will not get angry with you for splashing water on them. Hawkers selling food are exempted. Most troubles started because of sao sao kena take advantage. Motorcycle is a no no.

There's no fixed rules. Have to be here to find out what's acceptable and what's not. My tip is enjoy but don't get over intoxicated with the alcoholic drinks. Follow the flow, if there is any Dai Zhi, just get out of the place.

Was at Central Festival Centre to try my luck at the car wash shop. Told me the queue is 3 hours and will take another 1 hour to do the job.

Think he cannot qualify for bank loan. Me stupid. Seems like I also don't have luck with selling cars. Actually, the same thing happen to the civic except the 'buyer' is a farang.

Another criteria is parking must not be a problem. Current place is OK but no cooking allowed.

My personal preference in Sin City is to stay in condos/apartments. For house/town house, one problem is break-ins and the barking of the dogs in the neighbourhood.

knn, sometimes, one motorbike passed by, all the dogs will start to bark non-stop.
