Bro, I have always pondered over this remark whenever it's put forward. Is "proud" the correct word to describe "die die don't want to lose face" mentality ?

You cannot feel proud over nothing. But what is that something which the Thais are proud of ?

Imho, the airport tax is something else -for terminal running, maintenance etc. But logic on foreigners (not working) and not pay income tax for "discount" is flawed:

1) Everybody (including foreigners) pay VAT 7%. Except for purchases re-exported (VAT refund)

2) How many locals (really) pay income tax in LOS?

Korean tour bus. Koreans form the largest group of asian foreigners in Sin city. You will be glad to know the ratio of korean zha bohs and man are almost equal. Why they are here, i don't know but there are 2 korean churches in sin city for the korean community.

Think about tomorrow and this weekend I damn sianz. I have super-long weekend this week because Friday is public holiday and I don't need to work on Saturday. Its so rare for me to even have a normal weekend where I am free on Sat and Sun. Maid taking leave and leaving me alone at home to take care of home and dog from tomorrow afternoon to Monday morning. She's going diving in Koh Tao (turtle island in the south). Fuxx I googled and its damn beautiful man, she told me she going to dive and see whale sharks knn I sibeh.

Yes, it's call gra beung yang in thai and it's cheap. Good for light usage but you will need a very even floor. But in my case, i will stick to wood flooring as half my office already wood.
