me listened 2 doze plus top 40 countdown which me tuned in oni wen countdown reached top 10 ... dey were programmes broadcasted @ nite around 8 - 10 pm ... suitable 4 listening after dinner ...no ....never listened to those....now i remember that in the 60s we only had 1 transistor radio, the small type for the whole family.... my brother and i listened to music in the daytime after school but evening my dad hog the radio to listen to other stuff like news and shares.
So during the 60s, there was no tv programmes. And there is only 1 radio station, Rediffusion?

Talentime 1967 was special - Unforgettable for me was this guy Johnny Tan who sang falsetto and made us all laugh.....
Digress on musicians. Thought that Vernon Cornelius fella was quite talented.
Also had a thing with rock bands like Pests Infested (onto 70s)
In spite of all these, my first record was the theme to the movie -The Longest Day....
