OK. I will place my virgin bet on Japan to win. Lol what's the minimum bet at Singapore Pools? $1 ?
May I ask, how much did you bet?

I might be wrong, but I foresee Brazil versus Belgium (i.e. South America versus Western Europe) in the quarter-final, just like:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_FIFA_World_Cup_knockout_stage#Uruguay_vs_France
in the other:

Ironically, although I feel sad for Japan, I'm also relieved they lost, simply because:

I happen to be supporting Brazil.

so now I can support Brazil wholeheartedly against Belgium! :)
Otherwise, if Japan had beaten Belgium, I would not have the heart to support either Brazil or Japan in the:

Just woke up.
 Wow! This is the earliest post I've seen from you!

Good morning.. I didn't bet..
Oh, then that's good! :)

Read the news and comments here..Must be an exciting match...
I was really not expecting Japan to score a single goal because, if I remember correctly, there were at least one or two occasions during the first half when all eleven Japanese players were in their own penalty box defending against Belgium's attack!

But after Japan managed to score their first goal during a quick counterattack only a few minutes after the second half started, which was soon followed by their second goal (from outside the penalty box), they became a bit more adventurous and defended less; but even then, Belgium's first goal was certainly a fluke header, which was soon followed by another header by the 1.94m-tall:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marouane_Fellaini
fifa.com/worldcup/players/player/290902
which the Japanese defenders marking him were simply not able to prevent because he was simply too tall for them to out-jump him! :frown:

Finally, the third (and winning) goal by Belgium during the last minute of injury time was also a bit lucky, in my opinion.

Gosh... It must have been a emo roller coaster for you ... 3k and Belgium score last minute...Lol
Anyway congrats BNB!

Thanks bro Meng, I am very lucky to keep my principal bet of $3000 plus winning another $900 nett.

I didn’t expecting the Belgium defence to be so weak at this stage of the tournament.
