2010 Budget: I GOT SHITLOAD OF NOTHIN'!!!

To be fair we have suffered close to $30B in GIC/Temasek losses. So we need to tighten our belts. After all remember that our Gov budget is only around $30B of which $10B used to be defense related.

So actually Gov only spends $20B on us and losses were more than $30B so die die must tighten belt.

The budget is a prudent one given the losses.

Now Lau Goh says doesn't mean Budget is no good if you don't benefit individually!

What a joke, is he a devotee of trickle down Reaganomics?

Where you get the $30b losses figure from?

According to market talk, depending to which Starbucks or coffeeshop you go to, the loss figures are in the $150b to well over $200b bracket ok.

Fair to whom? The PAPies and the civil service are expected to receive an 8.8% pay increment this year.

IN the worst economic crisis ever faced by the modern world, the PAPies spent about 1%, $4.5 billion of our reserves to tackle the issue. Most of the $4.5billion was actually the transfer of money from one pocket to another as the largest employer in the country is the garment and the GLCs.

WHe Indonesia was in financial crisis in 1997, GCT wanted to lend them $18 billion.

IF the self-serving actions of the PAPies does not show Singaporeans how PAP puts its own people last then there truly is nothing that can be done for the country.

But I believe that hundreds of thousands of SIngaporeans are seeing the light today. We need to harness their energy and their willingness to lisen to arguments against the PAPies to reinforce their anger against the PAPies.

We need to galvernise this group so that they can reach out to even more Sinagporeans.

There is no point in voting in the PAP in the next GE unless Singaporeans want to continue to be screwed. The observation is that there is a very good chance that Singaporeans want full controll over their own country and to have poiticians that will serve the people first and foremost.

Can we ask the ministars to return half of their multi million dollar salaries?
They'll still be the highest paid in the world.

Coming from the same guy who promised us a Swiss standard of living....what a joker..

Sir!, I have already helped the BUDGET for many years?, I contribute to Central Provident Fund, regularly; I pay my taxes...I helped the 'poor' by invigoritating the economy by spending & pay GST!

Problem is, my self is not in the centre??? !!!

So, when I will get an award? of some sorts?:D

You can be a Centrepoint old kid. Just go around and follow what those dumb street nerds in the 80s did ie walk around looking aimlessly. You don't have to buy anything cos you're not supposed to too, so it's a relatively expense-free stunt.

But el solo, so you'd be the sole nomination and winner of the Centrepoint Dropout award.
