Oh comon. How did they derive the 19 percent ? High time they reveal the benchmark for calculations.

What we need is a good dose of transparency and accountability.

Going by the losses made by Temasek and the GLC which we will never know, their paycut hardly compensate for it.

In private sector, heads already started to roll, pay cut for ministers is not even close to any punishment for all the losses made in throwing monies away.

They upped their salary early this year by 33%. Imagaine $1 by 33% will be $1.33. Then down it by 19% yesterday will make it $1.0773. So they still got a 7.73% increase this year for running the biz to the ground!

And of course they will blame it on the external factor that causes this. But what if the next upturn comes? They already told the peasants they will move their pay to 88% of their "nonsenscial top 7 occupation" scale.

HK chief only get SGD400K about one tenth what LHL is getting and HK did way better than SG last yr.
