movies are simple

any nation of donkeys can produce movies or dramas.

just words, nothing too extravagant

what's difficult are genuine martial arts movies

here the entire planet is lagging today

add in stunts, action, shootout of chow yun fat directed by john woo.

nobody in the world did it like hongkies. that's the only thing slanty hongkies were good at maybe. movies and dramas.

otherwise, monotonous dialogues and stories are straightforward boring affairs just abt anybody can deliver

what not just anybody can deliver is action, martial arts, fight scene, stunts like hongkies from the past. add in great story, acting, direction, editing, cinematography etc and it's just icing on the cake. the latter parts can be done by many countries to since they are simple & commonplace.

what set hngkies apart (in possibly the only thing they were exceptional at) is martial arts action fights scenes choreography stunts.

unless there is sth exceptional, sth that stands out, not worth wasting time on mediocrity
