调查发现，12名卖淫女郎被编排成早午2个上班班次，每1名女郎值班时可服务多达14名恩客，每次性交易仅60令吉。
移民局总监拿督凯鲁再米指出，该局共出动27名官员于昨日下午3时30分，突击取缔隆市半山芭路的2个廉价公寓单位。

他透露，当局展开行动时，在场卖淫女郎及看守员试图逃走，但因移民局官员已包围所有出入口而作罢。
“落网者包括8名越南籍女郎、4名印尼籍女郎、1名越南籍男子，他们年龄介于20至40岁；在场的还包括2名本地看守员及6名本地嫖客，他们随后也被要求到移民局办公室录取口供。”

凯鲁再米指出，该卖淫集团相信在国家复苏计划（PPN）期间活跃，嫖客在门口和看守员见面后，即可被带到该单位与外籍女郎进行性交易。
他说，每次性交易价格是60令吉，涉及卖淫的外籍女郎被分成早上7时至下午3时，以及下午3时至晚上9时2个班次工作，每名女郎通常1个班次可接待14名嫖客。

移民局官员突击逮捕12名涉及卖淫活动的外籍女郎。
“落网者皆没身分证件，他们随后被押返雪州士毛月扣留所，移民局援引反贩卖人口和反贩运移民法令（ATIPSOM）、1959/63年移民局法令、1966年护照法令、以及1963年移民条规调查此案。”
