Guess which GRC he will be standing ?
Wah, this is unexpected and will be a first for opposition. Looks like this GE will be more sexciting than the previous one.
My guess is he will join the new Marine Parade-Braddell GRC as he seen
walking the grounds there or else will be East Coast GRC to replace Nicole Seah. But I was thinking that he should join Aljunied GRC to take over Leon Perera for a safer route, then he can take on powderful ministers esp. Shanmugam, LOL.
Next one to watch out for is who will replace Nicole Seah in East Coast GRC as previously WP did well, so to maintain the voteshare, they die die must get heavyweights to join, else sure GG.

Harpreet Singh Nehal, senior counsel & potential WP candidate, launches new FB page to document political journey

Since August 2023, senior counsel Harpreet Singh Nehal has donned the Workers' Party's light blue polo shirt and been spotted walking the grounds with other WP members.
In March 2025, Singh said on his Facebook that as the next General Election (GE) approaches, he expects to be "even more deeply engaged".
He even shared that he
created a separate Facebook page to document his political journey leading up to and beyond GE, possibly hinting at WP fielding him as a candidate in the upcoming GE.
In a post on Dec. 29, 2024, Singh shared that he was "immensely proud to be associated with the Workers' Party."
"It is a reasonable, sensible and responsible political party that is not just committed to keeping all things that are great about Singapore," Singh wrote.
"More importantly, the Workers’ Party is equally committed to bring about the changes that Singapore needs to be stronger and better – one more ready and confident to meet the future.
A Singapore where citizens can live more affordable, balanced and fulfilling lives.

Who is Harpreet Singh?
Singh was first spotted in August 2023 walking the grounds with other WP members, Nathaniel Koh and Fadli Fawzi, in
Marine Parade.
Koh and Fadli contested Marine Parade GRC in the 2020 General Election.
Since then, he has been photographed out and about with WP in their signature light blue polo tee with the WP logo.
Singh is a co-managing partner of his own boutique law firm, Audent Chambers LLC.
According to his
LinkedIn page, Singh's main areas of practice involve "international arbitration and complex commercial litigation across a wide spectrum of disputes including banking and finance, oil and gas, company law, equity and trusts".
An alumni of the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Harvard Law School, Singh was admitted to the bar as an advocate and solicitor in 1992.
He has had stints at the Supreme Court of Singapore, Drew & Napier LLC, and Clifford Chance LLP.
He was
appointed senior counsel in 2007.
The appointment of senior counsel is "an accolade given to those who possess outstanding ability as advocates, extensive knowledge of the law and the highest profession standing".
Singh previously
penned commentaries on social and legal issues, and was also involved in a 2022 Supreme Court case that challenged Section 377a of the Constitution, which criminalised sex between men before it was
repealed later that year.
