I have Malay colleagues in management and others in my organization who drive to the office. Meritocracy made them work hard to obtain their degrees and work their way up the corporate ladder.Singapore Malays are different from Malaysians. Singapore Malays from even before 1965 were entrepreneurial and prospered. They owned many large businesses and lands. Discrimination and racism by both LKY and the majority race ended all that.
