Friends,

Many years ago, I started the shoft from 15mg (real men) Marlboro Red to lighter brands, and by 2014 I was smoking 1mg Dunhill Ultimates. Along the way, the Govt stopped the marking of Tar and Nicotine.

Now, Dunhill Ultimate (White) is no longer available. And I find the regular brands too strong (I am smoking a packet a day).

Does anyone know what is the lightest non-menthol brand available in Singapore? Mevius something?

Thank you, and my lungs thank you too,

Naah, if you mean smoke half a stick. I find the "normal" cigarette too harsh, and even the Lights (which I sometimes bum off others) make me cough.

I don't need the nicotine (or so I claim), I just need the warm smoke and distraction.

Friend, why so witty :-)

Someone must know which cigarettes are lighter than others. I don't want to buy 6 different packs and test.

Too strong? Simple. That mean you smoke too much! Cut to one packet a week and savour the flavour.

I wrote to Japan Tobacco (the Mevius guys),and they said:

"Due to existing local regulations, we are not permitted to advertise/recommend any of our products or disclose the actual tar/nicotine contents on our products."

Anecdotal evidence will do, please.

Old wives tales: no menthol or can't get it up :geek:
