Singapore's unique form of democracy.....
1) Election for President but must specifically be a Muslim looking after $500m company or just a plain HDB dwelling speaker of parliament with absolutely zero knowledge as compared to a CEO of a $500m company.
2) Nominated MPs.... only in Singapore are MPs selected by the gahmen and not by the people in their constituencies. These MPs have absolutely no one to represent for and have no say or votes in parliament.
3) GRCs....multi racial MPs created for maintaining racial harmony in combined constituencies. However, if one MP, say a Malay, is taken out to be a President, then logically that GRC concept is now lop sided. However it is still ok to carry on without that GRC being void and invalid as originally planned nor seeking a by-election.
