Last year, I threw away my andriod phone at home. In the end, one day, i received a warning message that someone in JB attempted to login the yahoo account that I used to setup the android OS in the phone. So apparently even if I throw away the phone personally, the trash collection company sorted my rubbish and "recycled" my phone.

I’m not joking whenever I wanna throw away phones or electronic items I bring to my boss factory in Rayong have a gas fired oven I’ll throw it in there including my old notebooks and hard drives. Safety first.
