The Philippines isn't developed in 2013 so how you can use it as an example certainly beats me.

The youtube videos certainly confirm that Singapore was nothing but a fishing village. You can see for yourself that apart from the areas which serve the colonial masters, the rest of the country is nothing but palm trees and atap huts.

If it wasn't for LKY, the whole country would still be undeveloped. I am forever indebted to that great man who made the country what it is today.

In that case Manila has gone backwards because I was there 3 years ago and it is one of the most undeveloped cities I have ever seen in my life.

I understand perfectly well that they are in a state of denial because they have allowed personal hatred to cloud their judgement.

I lived through Singapore's development from 3rd world to 1st thanks to LKY. You can show me 10,000 videos but they aren't going to erase the vivid memories I have of having to walk half a mile to a stand pipe to collect water in kerosine tins for my mum to use for cooking and washing.

LKY changed all that. After he transformed Singapore, I had the opportunity to live in a swanky home with hot and cold water, 3 flushing toilets, an air conditioner in each room and an abundance of opportunities to improve my lot even further.

LKY is a great man. I experienced his leadership first hand. Another 100 videos about another 50 philosophers but this isn't going to alter the reality that I lived through. Perceptions and values can be manipulated. However, altering my reality would require drastic brain surgery or an adaptation of the technology from "True Lies".

Strangely, there were at least 2 toilets in my old family house, and one more right at the back but that used by the two amahs living with us.
All my friends in ACS never talked about having to share a steel toilet bucket like you had to.
