What was the most stupid question you have been asked in job interviews?

I would have eaten one of the light bulbs and tell the head now there is left two light bulbs and got the job.

why should you or the intern? he held that last critical piece of info by hiding it, and since the interviewer revealed his answer without knowing the twist at the end, the intern had the upper hand and was in control. if interviewer had an extra bulb in his coat and revealed it, intern was right. if interviewer didn't have an extra bulb in his coat and revealed answer, intern would be right by pulling his hidden trump card, which he did. win-win for the intern. you need to think outside the box as a sinkie. :D

I'm talking about the 1st interview. I do not need the 2nd chance.

it's too late to eat the 3rd bulb. interviewer already failed you, plus the fact that bulb in your throat was still a bulb, broken or eaten.

No way. I make the rules for the interview. Once the light bulb is eaten by me, it's no more. If interviewver still says there're 3 bulbs, I'll get witness into the room and ask him to count how many light bulbs left. LOL!!!

if interviewer is kind, he'll call an ambulance or medivac. if he's mean, he'll call the imh. :p

I've asked a stupid qn myself to a candidate:

What's the oxygen content in the atmosphere? And he went and screwed it up.

I thought he did not undeerstand the question. So I gave him an imaginary situation. And questioned him again.

If you opened that window and how musch is the percentage of oxygen is out there? He replied:

Yes, yes the oxygen percentage is different inside the room and outside!

I gave up.

Guess the race.

The worst interview I come across is the interviewer kept me waiting for half an hour. When he finally appear at the reception, I fucked him upside down LOL.

you didn't say you got that job or not?

prospective intern walked into ucsf head of department office for an interview. interviewer asked intern to count number of light bulbs in the room. intern looked around and counted two, one in the ceiling and another in a desk lamp. "two" said the intern. interviewer replied "three. i have one in my pocket." intern failed the interview and was asked to leave. all interviewees were given a second chance as none made it through the first round.

on the second interview, intern sat in the same office with the same previous interviewer. interviewer asked the same question. "how many light bulbs are there in the room?" "three!" quickly replied the intern. "wrong! there are only two, one up there, one on my desk, and none in my pocket." :D interviewer grinned widely as he flipped his lab coat open like a flasher.

intern cooly retorted with a smirk. "there are three because i have one in my pocket." he pulled out the 3rd bulb from his pocket and showed the interviewer. he got the job.

I would love this intern be in my team.
Better if he could make available for 2016 GE!

One potential employer asked me whether I was a team player.
Who in his right mind would say no?

This was followed up with a question on my favourite sport.
Jogging, I said.

Subsequently, I was told by an insider that I did not get the job because I lied about being a team player.
In that HR fella's mind, joggers are introverts and certainly no team players.

you should say basketball lah or football.. hahahhaha...or you can say swinging or mass orgy.. that is a real team player.

"What do you do in your free time?"

A most unnecessary question. I have not yet landed the job, I don't know you every well, and you're asking me something that's not related to the work.

If this is a method used by HR people to create a jovial atmosphere, I am not impressed.

when i am free, i scold and bash people who ask me stupid questions.

i thought nowadays people look for job is through contacts, friends' friend recommendation.

go to interview is to talk cock and relax and sure get the job one... this is what my unsinkified friend did.. it is still up to him if he wants the job.

I think if you can answer the following questions (if asked), you are sure to win...

1) Whom do you know in this Company?

2) Who recommended you to come here?

3) What make you to choose this Company for job?

4) What can you contribute if we employ you?

If you answered the first 2 questions with a name in that same company, chances are you will not likely get the job.

No manager will want a subordinate that knows someone higher up in same company unless this manager is an expert in the relationship game!

The question you asked was idiotic. Are you sure you should be handling the recruitment for your company?

Yes, yes the oxygen percentage is different inside the room and outside!

he's right. it's true. the oxygen content in my room if windows and door are closed and sealed is lower than in open air. there's a slight proportionate increase in carbon dioxide and methane as i love to eat cabbage like tony and fart frequently. :p

if you ask buikia and sadplumpgal, their room that they share has a lot more methane than the average cow barn.

Please see Ho Jinx's answers in red below when she had her interview for a job in Temasek.

I think if you can answer the following questions (if asked), you are sure to win...

1) Whom do you know in this Company?

My husband is the eldest son of LKY and he will be PM after the seat has been warmed nicely.

2) Who recommended you to come here?

The entire famiLEE said I must be here to protect THEIR assets.

3) What make you to choose this Company for job?

I oredi told you, you TWIT. To protect the famiLEE's assets.

4) What can you contribute if we employ you?

I am an expert in buy high sell low. Now, stop being no big no small. I will be CEO in a few years of this TemaSICK and you will be under my thumb. Interview is finished oredi. Understand?

For me, it was one interview that happened 30 over years ago.

The interviewer asked me what I do during my leisure. I replied drinking. He asked, Heineken atau Chivas ?:o
