yes business model like that quite popular, as rents go up & people need fast service, usually a central factory or distribution point serves the function & when business picks up they also start to cater for other companies/brands. but have to be careful as after a while, people get fed up of the similarity & will go elsewhere.

if you talking about the olden days, my favourite is the original malay chendol, ice shavings, santan, green jelly & thick thick gula melaka at the bottom, these days donno got what beans & sweetcorn, machiam rojak, why can't they just keep it simple & sedap :mad:
