Is Singapore governed by indecisive leaders and managed by inexperienced and ineffective AGC? Consider the following:
1. LHL sought the advice of AGC and he initially decided not to hold a B-E at Hougang. He changed his decision when challenged by a HG resident (finally reaslised that he had no constitutional ground to delay BE indefinitely?.
2. AGC appealed against Judge Philip Pillai's decision. Then withdrew the appeal and then re-appealed (why the flip flop?.
3. The AG was replaced. Could it be the result of bad AGC's advice given to LHL for delaying the HG B-E resulting in LHL having to change his decision when challenged by a HG resident?
4. The bad formulation of the charge sheets in the teenage prostitute cases. Any law student knows that for the charge to be valid, the prostitute has to be named. Otherwise, how would the defence lawyer fight the case? How could such an elementary mistake be made by the AGC? Inexperienced AGC staff?
5. The bad formulation of the sexual corruption charges against Commissioner SCDF and Director, CNB. I wont be surprised if the State Prosecutor loses the cases unless AGC wakes up as the charges are too general and amibiguous.
Why is LHL so indecisive in the HG B-E saga?
Is there more than meets the eye for the AG change recently?
Why is AGC such an embarrassment?
All the above show that LHL is weak and there are many gaps in the AGC.
All are not well in SG
