Listen up Mindef/SAF... nobody likes NS a.k.a conscription. Nobody likes to do things that are forced against their will. The best you can achieve is to get people to TOLERATE it. Most will still regard it with disdain or contempt.

Those who wear No. 4 on that day will receive discounts as "This effort is in conjunction with popular retailers offering special promotions to servicemen wearing their uniform on that day."
SAF also "request that you (my company) consider appreciating your NSmen employees in your own special ways on that day."
Lets see how many green men in the city on 1 July!

Officially speaking, that is the standard battle order.
In the olden days, SBO mean webbing with accessories. Helmet comes with inner liner and the metal shell, full pack means full pack without the quick release button, rifle means AR15 without anti-jamming knob. And of course, the boots are the super heavy type.
Everyone fall in, enjoy a water parade and march file formation to work on i July.
Whoever stupid idea to wear No 4 deserved to be made to wash toilet bowls with toothbrush, after inspection, proceed to use same toothbrush to brush his teeth.

In my LAST working environment, the two of us are SINgaporeans, the rest are PR's & Foreigners...if we were then, turn up on July 1, in lumpar 4, they would think, we have one too many the night before, there is martial law outside or we have been invaded.
The toothbrush mentioned, after cleaning the latrines, should clean the whoever came up with this stupid idea asshole & then brush his or her teeth...:p

Been doing the wearing uniform shit for a long time, not by me though. Threw my uniform out the day I got my MR letter. Think a Bangla picked up my uniform.
fuck you la. i never had to wear number 3 my entire life, except taking photo for 11B. and i think only a handful of sammies around here are officers or clerks loh. we want us to buy stupid number 3 just for for fucking SAF day? siao!
Certain vocations have 'special' number 3 uniforms unlike the rest.
