Unlike us they kill and kidnap their neighbours and are very happy about it even laugh over it when the presidential spokeswoman were first presenting some "facts" about killing the Taiwanese fisherman. Their people are also behind their government about this killing. So unlike pinoys, sinkies are not scums of the earth. Please don't, don't compare us with damned pinoys.

I watched the news last night and they interviewed 3 political observers in Singapore. Two were Chinese and from the name and accent, 1 was very likely to be PRC. The 3rd one was a pinoy shit. The two Chinese gave very neutral point of views while the pinoy shit was practically defending the pinoy coast guards from start to end. Really piece of shit.

Disagree. It's an inferiority complex masquerading as arrogance and false superiority. All this show of bravado stems from being the 'sick men of Asia'.

To a man the Filipinos are ashamed that almost the entire Philippines economy is supported by the remittance of foreign currency by their countrymen working abroad, the bulk of whom are their women. Domestic workers are their biggest exports. Not to mention the demeaning fact that their doctors are working as nurses and pharmaceutical sales reps abroad, business grads waiting on tables, accountants as bank tellers, engineers as seamen, while guitar-strumming white-collar professional entertain rich clients on cruise ships with cover versions of contemporary pop hits.

It's pathetic.

In SIngapore, the white dogs elevated their status to equal all Singaporeans, that's why they behave like they are kings & queens doing us a bloody favour!

I've been to pinoy land several times for many years due to work related issues and frankly they are very friendly people. when I intro myself to one of our client they gave a lot of praised about how well singapore as a country and they mentioned if there is one country they want to emulate it is singapore. then I stumbled in one of the conversation when i said I am chinese and they were shocked and quipped: "I thought you're singaporean?" I quickly replied that in singapore there were singaporean-chinese, malay, indian and others. I was surprised when one of the fair-looking tall guy, ang moh look, says that in philipine there are many different races also but they all call themselves pinoy whether they were chinese ancestry, spanish or malays from southern mindanao... over the years that i travelled there I notice a strong emerging trend of migrant like Koreans, Japanese, PRCs, Taiwanese, Americans and even europeans... last I heard there were around 4millions of them now and the fastest growing the Koreans. The pinoy economy has been booming for the last 10years and I could not recognised Manila anymore so many high-rise and high-end condo sprouting like mushroom... so many sports car like ferarri, lamborghini and luxury cars like BMW, Merc, Audi on the road. The most posh location I've been there is called The Fort in the Makati financial district and frankly can rival any of the modern cities in the world today. Last visit I made were in Feb this year and I'm billeted at RWS Manila, the casino was comparable to Las Vegas and recently they opened Solaire the newest integrated resort hotel and casino in Manila, heard it cost around USD3.5b to build that will include indoor beach and entertainment centre. The pinoy like to explore other countries either through working there or visiting them (if they are rech enough) it's in their psyche to go out and challenge themselves in other environment whether its work or business, they are no different from us in terms of desire for better life excepts they are not bothered how the politicians run their country as they try to fend for themselves and not relying on their gov't for jobs or support.

If pinoyland is so developed as you've experienced first hand, it makes a lot of us wonder why their government don't even bother to create jobs for all their peasants? Yes, corruption is everywhere but the basic fundamental need for their people is a job to bring food on the table. They got so much land and resources which I believed has been owned by all those political party leaders for their self-interest. For so many years, the Marcos and other influential rich and powerful family members keep enriching themselves but do little to grow their own economy. They don't want to create jobs in their own pinoyland but want their people to take away other's people's job in foreign countries?

Precisely. The bullets were all aimed at where the crews were hiding. Under international protocols, fishermen who strayed into another country's water will be repelled or arrested and fined. There is no need for 46 bullets.

It more than 46. If u ever fire GPMG or SAW, every 1 shot hit, there will be 3-4 misses in auto mode. it reasonable to assume Pinoy fired a barrage of about 200 rounds.

firing a gun onboard a ship is alot different from firing from a static position. Thats why they mostly use MGs sprays to even the odds.

No denying that the Pinoys are a friendly lot, a trait they share with the other peoples from the Malay archipelago and Pacific islands. But if you've worked with them long enough in the same company, you'll find that they are notorious back-stabbers, which is where they differ from our local Malays.

Sounds like you visited the Pinoy equivalent of MBS, shenton way and orchard road, and decided that it is a nice country. Philippines consist of lotsa islands. Lotsa tourists make the mistake of thinking how wonderful SG is too, they believe the facade created for tourists, you dont know shit till youve seen the bad too. These friendly people are the same ones who invaded Malaysia a couple months back. And life is cheap, a few years back, one pinoy poltician ordered a hit on his political opponent. They ambushed his convoy, killing everyone. the opponent, his entire family and around 20-50 of his supporters.
