I have a retiree family member that is addicted to online betting for the past 9 months.

Now EVERYDAY From March till now he place bets online. From this year March till now, he got lose and got win some but overall he still had lost $2300.

How to counsel him to stop betting?

He is in his early 50s but he is a retiree and is not working.

But after all his effort for the past 9 months, he said he is still net loss $2300.

Then might as well he don't bet and save this $2300.

2ndly, I'm worried his losses may soon snwoball from this $2300 to much larger amounts very soon if he continues everyday placing bets till next year
