i guess it depends on the type of headhunter you are and who you do the job for. One of my former childhood neighbours used to do this but i think he headhunted lower level executives so he said he was doing 'ok' only.
He said that the bigger players would earn lots more....for example the person who hunted a top level Starhub to leave and go to taiwan

....this headhunter would have made lots out of the move

Same principle as property agent. Depending on the type and class of property, affecting frequency of sale and commission.

But beware of frauds and data mining by agents.:o
