Bro the pay I have mentioned was in the late 80s and early 90s for major rank with O levels only. My dad and uncle reached major rank and that was what they approximately earned. O levels at that time can only go as high as major rank. If I'm not mistaken. My dad was a CO and my uncle a specialist. My uncle earned abit more due to the fact he brought out regulars for live firing. My dad hentak kaki and cho bo lan at camp.
Although I am grateful to my dad but I felt he should have migrated when he had the chance when most of my relatives moved to OZ and Canada in the mid 80s.
