The Workers’ Party offers our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the two SMRT maintenance workers, Nasrulhudin Najumudin and Muhammad Asyraf Ahmad Buhari, who passed away in an accident earlier today.
We are greatly saddened that the two workers had died in the line of duty.
This accident tragically highlights the hard work that maintenance and service workers put into making our public transport system operate efficiently. Thank you and please keep safe.

The correct procedure is they do an internal investigation but MOM or SPF will do their investigation separately. Each have their own term of reference eg SPF will determine any foul play.. Etc.
