Thank you for your well wishes. We definitely had a good time in Jb. We enjoyed driving long distance to discover new places to eat and many spur of the moment day trips to Malacca. We enjoyed the open spaces. We'll definitely miss all this.

Ya, I know about the quicker clearance at 2nd link from my relatives. But since I'm staying at tebrau side, using 2nd link is not feasible. Distance is double and b4 I could reach 2nd link, I might get stuck on Pasir Gudang highway

The jam has caused a lot damage to our character. We're now less patience and tolerance. We got angry with the queue cutters and drivers who don't abide by the law. With the increased toll, it's just not worth sacrificing our time getting stucked in the jam. It's also time for my children to...

Thought of that too but Sg got one of the best education system and being a Singaporean we are entitled to cheap school fees, therefore we choose to go through the hassle by commuting to sg daily. Also our move to JB is because of cost savings.

My family have been living in Jb and working/studying in SG for the last 5 years. Traffic jam is getting worse though tolls have been increased. We leave home, Terbrau side at 5am. On good days, will clear Woodlands checkpoint b4 6am. On bad days, 7am or later. We enjoy the extra space and...

    Austin Heights/Adda Heights

Re: Why Austin Hgts price lower than Adda Hgts You have to leave no later than 5.40am. The checkpoints are unpredictable. If smooth, before 6.30am reach woodlands. If jam, then they will be late for school. If you can afford, stay put in Sg. It's not the kid will suffer, but the driver is...

Totally agree. Daily commute between My & Sg is not easy during the morning and evening peak at causeway. Also there is a slight different in food and people's mentality that we need to adjust.
