Let get real..most American are the most ignorant and brainwash people in the world...but that doesn't mean everyone here is so stupid.. I learnt about reading the ingredient on the food product when I was in the state.. I never even heard about high fructose corn syrup before I came over here...

GMO and growth hormone food are everywhere .. It is naive to think you only get this type of food in US.. Just google GMO , growth hormone,pesticide foods and China, the extend which the Chinese are producing these type of food are even more shocking..and they are exporting them all over Asia...

Having resided in the US for more than 10 years, I was surprised this time when I visited China and Malaysia last Dec, almost all essentials and groceries (especially meats) in both countries are even more expensive than the US.

In the US..there are many places without public transport and driving a car is much cheaper than taking bus and MRT in Spore. You are using the worst example (SF public transport) to defend sg system!!
