By not allowing Singaporeans to keep exotic animals, AVA believe they are doing the world a favour

bro,
you and bro drifter plus a couple of others know how to take care of these babies. you're minority, rare breed.
tonnes & tonnes of Sinkies haven't seen a live chicken, let alone to understand how it lays eggs :o:o:o

By the way, are we allowed to keep chicken as pets?

My grandmother (paternal) used to keep pet chicken and duck in the kitchen area. Fed them, played with them and sayang them. Placed a plank block to keep them from straying into the hall. She usually only kept them for a few days. They'll disappear after one of the family feast gatherings. My other grandmother (maternal) was even more exotic. She used to keep pet turtles. Same practice though, fed them, played with them and sayang them, but they'd disappear after a grand feast.

disappear? You mean you don't even know if they were caught and slaughtered?
