The insignificant nobody me do agree that Mr Gilbert Goh is only exercising his freedom of speech & expression.
However, Freedom is a power & comes with responsibilities to others sharing our space. We are a multi-cultural Nation, & these are sensitive times which had unhinged many mentalities, polarized views, & the last thing we need is a repeat of the horrific days of the 60s in Singapore.
Holding a cardboard is NOT going to resolve anything. There are better ways, such as using legal channels in Democratic Singapore to express one's view - thru ELECTED legislators, to consolidate & rationalize all views & then make use of Parliament to find a path forward, if it not already done by our Elected Leaders.
It's ok to take sides & each has their own view - ignorant or well informed views. It is good to discuss & debate PEACEFULLY - so that we will either be changed by wise viewpoints or change others with better & pragmatic views. And such can done thru daily interaction of others, at school, at work or at play, should one choose to do so.
