Yup, he would have "fit in" nicely......
he has gone to a better place.
What's the purpose of saving the lives of losers? It's a waste of time.

If it was the Familee's wealth, long ago they wud hve skin her alive. You cant blame her, if you were in her shoes you too wud do like wise, nothing to lose everythng to gain, bonus, commission and salary, chiak beh liow.
One less loser in town.
Dunno if wife left him because he jobless or the other way round.
Sad case.
When your job has been taken away by foreigners, what has been left behind will be all sorts of liabilities (housing, cars, wife, kids, parents, bills etc) that start haunting you.
If you can't handle all these stress at your own capacity, you may end up thinking of ending it once and for all. This is not new and it's going to repeat as long as there's not
enough jobs to go around for so many local sinkies and foreigners packed in this small little dot.
Don't see what's so sad about this.
If a man doesn't bother to be a productive member of society, he deserves no pity. He should go to hell.
We should be more sympathetic, and civil.
You look like a dark skin Chinese. You sure you cannot read Mandarin?
What's there to be sympathetic of civil. He has two arms, two legs, and a brain like the rest of us. Ok, maybe the brain a bit smaller, but WTH it's still a brain.
If he looked within, he could have sought out his inner strength to overcome difficulties. Instead he chose to surrender.
No need to be civil or sympathetic to such a person.

I believe that it is not up to us to judge or be too critical because we do not know the full situation and circumstances.
Believe me, it is not that easy to find a satisfying reasonably well paid job, let alone some income producing work to fulfill his family obligations.
May be, he chose an inappropriate alternative, but may he rest in peace, and that if he believes in God, that God will forgive him, grant him eternal rest.
If you place your personal worth as a human being to be defined the material things e.g. money and career, naturally you would see no point in continuing living when you don't have those things.
Unfortunately, it is hard to develop that kind of spirituality in a very materialistic society.
He did not choose to be jobless.
