Not one Bionix was sold because its possibly a piece of shit. Even SOuth Korea K200 KIFV at least sold over 100 units to Malaysia. Its extremely hard to break into the weapons market as a amour vehicle supplier when your vehicles have no combat history and your company is a relatively new to the AFV business and unproven. The Bronco/Warthog deal to the UK was just luck and one off. MIndef's plan always was to build a family of vehicles off the Bionix chassis, which they have, and therefore save money from going overseas to buy IFV, and what not. But they have to try and spend the money on marketing. But they are restricted in who they can sell to because of the US content in the vehicle. At best they can squeeze their buddies like the Sultan of Brunei to buy it, but he is busy having orgies in his palace.

In my opinion, ST Eng missed a golden opportunity. 74% of IBD Diesenroth was purchased by Rhinemetall (the giant German defence contractor) in 2011. Why the hell didn't ST Eng buy this share themselves? They have a close working relation with Diesenroth and he has a research facility/small scale production plant in Sinkieland. With so many countries around the world looking to upgrade their armour protection with applique amour like Mexas or AMAP, there might be an opportunity to market them the Bionix IFV too, while pitching them MEXAS. I think it makes ST Eng more credible to be the owner of a brand like MEXAS.
In my opinion, drones are a fuck bullshit position. Why even have a division for them?. There are a dozen drone makers from israel to USA that are better and more established, with combat proven products. and relatively speaking, its such a low dollar value defence product. We should never be building our own drones.

IBD Disenroth for a long time only had one client for their AMAP shit, and that was the SAF. I don't know how he conned Rheinmetal into buying his company. Must have been using the SAF to be the guinea pig for the con. If Rhienmetal did not do so, i think he go bankrupt already. The strong marketing and power of Rheinmetal now open the market for MEXAS to many other countries. In 2010, I asked my German friend who is in the govt. and a specialize in the defence industry, and he never even heard of Disenroth. After he sold to Rheinmetal, everyone in Germany know him.
