None of these irks me as much... They just need to return all of my CPF to me when I'm 55, I'm happy enough :p:p:p

Yesterday, I met a 65year old uncle. He shared with me that he is glad that he saved 50% on medical fees at the polyclinic because of the Pioneer Card. I explained that he should not have to pay for medical charges as he has been paying high taxes, GST and other levies all his life. In Malaysia and most other countries, public health care is almost 100% subsidised. Why shd he be happy that he now gets abt 50% subsidy when he is already 65? He shd be angry that he has to pay for public medical care as he has been paying taxes all his life

He agrees and promised to continue to vote against the pap.

We need to explain the truth when opportunity arises

I visited a friend at Mt E recently. He went in for a slipped disc op and the estimated cost is $45k for the op and a three-day stay at Mt E.

This is atrocious

No, I will only vote for PAP when they are oppositions once again :p:p:p

That's good. You rightly shd not be happy when pap returns your CPF money at 55 because it's your money and the pap has no right to retain it. By returning your money, the pap is just correcting a wrong it has done all these years

Let the new govt go through pap's cupboard with a fine comb and bring any wrong perpetrator to task. I bet there are many pap wrong doers and they must be frightened now.

Let any pap member, regardless of name/connection/position/reputation/past glories, who commits crimes against Singapore and Singaporeans face charges

I stay in the East of Singapore.

St Patrick's area goes for abt $1700 psf. So a 1100 sq ft apt will cost at $1.9m. That's expensive

Tharman and Temasek's Deputy Chairman, Cheung WK, have said that property price has not bottomed.

So it may pay for you to wait for a while. But there is no best time to buy. If you really like a particular apt, you may go in if money is not an issue

But why invest if u see sinkieland crumbling?

Invest when you cant find a better alternative to park your money. depending on your time horizon and your profit target, you may be able to reach your target and get out before SG crumbles.

It is a personal judgement depending on whether you are risk averse

With your conviction, you would be like me, going for a lot of kopi session talking to friends and neighbors to vote the PAP out :smile::smile:

hahaha...yes,I am trying to do my part to kick the pap into the opposition. But Frankel to Woo Mun Chew are quite anti pap now...so no need to cover these areas much

Sure or not? The elderly folks around there know how to give politically correct answers one you know?

They are middle class, read widely, travel frequently, are discerning and are quite knowledgeable unlike the heartlanders who believe MSM
