I remember coming across this line of thought.
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Nevertheless, at that point of time, the person contemplating suicide may decide that is the best solution, perhaps running out of options and the last resort.

People commit suicide because they are genetically inferior and cannot handle the stresses of life.
By removing themselves from the gene pool, they are doing the rest of us a favor.

i hv a friend who had two autistic children. she decided to migrate because SG has no programme to help her and her children. She and her children were probably suicide potentials in SG. But they are now happy overseas.

because of PAP letting in fake 3rd world trash, some singaporeans commit suicide because of overwhelming pressures, some Singaporean MBA graduates become taxi drivers, many Singaporeans are unemployed or underemployed.

Once you help one person who has fallen through the cracks, suddenly there'll be deluge of people falling through cracks. This will lead to more cracks for people to fall through as new definitions of "cracks" emerge to join the gravy train.
The best solution is educate people to avoid cracks so they don't fall in to begin with. If they do, it's their own fault and they then have to bear the consequences instead of using money earned by other hardworking citizens to climb out of the crack they should have avoided in the first place.
