Sometimes, I find it funny that some people AWOL just to skip the NS obligation but in the end, they paid more. They should have just endured the 2.5 years. Instead, they went AWOL, got caught, send to DB, come out, AWOL again, then sent back to DB...
When I was in Armour, there was this regular stuck at CPL rank during my whole duration there in Armour. He went OOC during the Spec course and began to armskote man. Dont know why the army did not discharge him.

regular as armskote man? his superior need to have his brain need to use a irresponsible guy as armskote. armskote very important specially in armour. from officer pistol to 120mm mortar all inside the armskote plus bino and other navigation devices. think aount it, he go awol again give a couple of 9mm pistol also nobody know.

too bad, i could have met u as some of us were attached to BMTCs after unit closed down after PC/Sgts orded in feb. i went back to tekong from feb to sept in 98. but i go back to camp 3. The best time i had in nsf, friday book out and monday book in. everyday wake up 7am, go cookhouse eat food prepare by ntuc foodfare, amercian breakfast everyday. coming from gedong where still saf cooks, tekong cookhouse was like heaven.

i armskoteman leh. so confirm under armskote. knn, my unit dont believe in lobo in CQ or armskote. all armskotemen were riflemen too, only CQ have one pes c storeman. CQ, signal store and armskote sgt are also M113 VC.
